SREB Celebrates New Publication on Emerging Contaminants in Water Journal

Save the Rwandan Environment and Biodiversity (SREB) is proud to announce the publication of a new research article in the international journal Water (MDPI). The paper, entitled “Emerging Contaminants: A Rising Threat to Urban Water and a Barrier to Achieving SDG-Aligned Planetary Protection” was co-authored by Dr. Ndayishimiye Jean Claude and Dr. Nyirabuhoro Pascaline, with SREB recognized as an institutional contributor.

This timely and impactful work highlights the growing challenge of emerging contaminants in urban water systems and their implications for achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The study provides critical scientific and policy insights for sustainable water management and environmental protection.
