SREB Supports Biti Primary School with Fruit Tree Planting Initiative
Save the Rwandan Environment and Biodiversity (SREB) has provided various fruit and agroforestry tree seedlings to Biti Primary School as part of its ongoing initiative to promote environmental protection and improve nutrition among students.
The support included: avocado, mango, papaya, and Grevillea robusta seedlings
The trees have been planted in collaboration with the school administration, the Environmental Club, and local community stakeholders. This initiative aims to strengthen environmental conservation through tree planting while also contributing to the prevention of malnutrition by increasing access to nutritious fruits within the school environment.
SREB believes that schools play an important role in promoting environmental awareness and sustainable development. By engaging students in practical environmental activities, the organization hopes to inspire a culture of environmental responsibility and healthy living among young people.
SREB appreciates the cooperation of Biti Primary School and local authorities in supporting this important initiative for a greener and healthier future.
