SREB Supports Environmental Protection at Mushubati Primary School in Muhanga District, Southern Province, Rwanda

Save the Rwandan Environment and Biodiversity (SREB) continues to promote environmental conservation through community-based tree planting initiatives in schools. As part of this commitment, SREB has provided 150 eucalyptus seedlings to Mushubati Primary School for planting around the school compound.

The tree planting activity was carried out in collaboration with the school administration and the Environmental Club, with the aim of improving environmental protection, increasing green coverage, and creating a healthier learning environment for students.

Through this initiative, students have also gained practical knowledge and awareness about the importance of protecting the environment, combating climate change, and promoting sustainable natural resource management.

SREB appreciates the cooperation and commitment of Mushubati Primary School and local authorities in ensuring that the planted trees are properly protected and maintained for the benefit of current and future generations.

Together, we can build a greener and more sustainable future.
