Today, on World Environment Day, we join millions of people around the world in celebrating our planet and renewing our commitment to protect it for present and future generations.

At Save the Rwandan Environment and Biodiversity (SREB), we recognize that a healthy environment is the foundation of sustainable development, human well-being, and biodiversity conservation. From protecting forests and wetlands to promoting climate resilience and safeguarding wildlife, every action we take today shapes the future of our communities and our planet.

This year's celebration reminds us that environmental protection is not the responsibility of governments and organizations alone, it is a shared responsibility that requires the active participation of every individual, family, school, business, and community.

We call upon all Rwandans and global citizens to:
